# Third-party data notices

|
SafeShield can download DNS blocklist artifacts from SmartSafeHub services. Some
|
|
artifacts may contain data derived from third-party blocklist projects. Those
|
|
data remain subject to their respective licenses and notices.
|
|
|
|
## HaGeZi's DNS Blocklists

SmartSafeHub may normalize, sort, deduplicate, or convert the format of
|
|
HaGeZi-derived lists before an artifact is delivered to SafeShield. A delivered
|
|
artifact that is derived from HaGeZi's DNS Blocklists remains subject to the
|
|
GNU General Public License v3.0.
|
|
|
|
The HaGeZi project states that its lists are provided without warranty and that
|
|
individual upstream sources can have their own licenses. Refer to the upstream
|
|
repository, its disclaimer, and `sources.md` for the notices applicable to the
|
|
source data used by HaGeZi.
|
|
|
|
A copy of the GNU General Public License v3.0 is installed with SafeShield at:
|
|
|
|
`/usr/share/licenses/safeshield/GPL-3.0.txt`
|
|
|
|
This notice supplements, and does not replace, license or attribution metadata
|
|
that accompanies a downloaded blocklist artifact.
